The Technical University for Renewable Energy in Cuba has the pleasure to invite all the scientists, professionals, entreprenuers and specialists who work in the field of Energy to participate in the V International Conference for Renewable Energy, Energy Saving and Energy Education, CIER 2007. This event is organized by twelve universities belonging to the Technical University for Renewable Energy, UTER.
The conference will be held at the Convention Palace of Havana from the 22th to 25th of May 2007. This venue, founded in 1979, is the most important conference center in Cuba. The Convention Palace possesses one main plenary room which may host up 2000 participants and nine additional rooms with a capacity for audiences greater than a 1000 people.
The International Wind Energy Workshop will be held within the framework of the conference. The moto will be: “Wind Energy in the context of the the Cuban Energy Revolution”. The organizers have decided to launch this second event considering the importance of wind energy resources for many countries around world and its relevance for Cuba's energy strategy.
